Søren Kierkegaard, a name meaning "church's garden", is a Christian philosopher whose work had a considerable influence on western philosophy and theology. His thoughts focused primarly on what it means to become a subject of one's existence, what feelings arise when faced with life choices, and the relation with God through faith. He is credited with numerous reflections on the three stages of life; he also questioned existential despair, absurdity and anxiety.

Repeats several quotes, doesn't cover span & diversity of his work. Other than that, a decent overview.

repeats a lot

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No one will enjoy a short book of quote when several of them are repeated

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

There was no ending

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Some of the material was great. some of the "quotes" were forced, artificial and in need of further context to be of any value

Any additional comments?

Listening to this book was like having a bad meal at a cheap restaurant. The price should have served as a warning. Hardly worth complaining about, but difficult to ignore the bad aftertaste in my mouth.
