Who in Galactic Central Command gives a rip about some lug nuts and a requisition form? I mean, who really cares that a systems engineer ordered 160 of them? Except those lug nuts changed everything and now he's called before a court marshal under accusation for treason, mutiny, theft, and murder. All because of those 160 lug nuts.

What's so important about a bagful of hardware?

Critic reviews

“Schaubert’s words have an immediacy, a potency, an intimacy that grab the reader by the collar and say, ‘Listen, this is important!’ Probing the bones and gristle of humanity, Lancelot’s subjects challenge, but also offer insights into redemption if only we will stop and pay attention.” ( Erika Robuck, national best-selling author of Hemingway’s Girl)

Would like to see this as a part of an anthology rather than standalone due to its length. The story was entertaining and the author and narrator deliver in the short story without a doubt. I love the irony of the parts # since I routinely deal with a lot of parts ordering and have seen things (much smaller scale) that made me just lol at this story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Cute very short story. Shubert included just enough detail to make the story, and Dorse performed it almost deadpan for great narration. Worth your time!

Funny!
