This isn't a book, just an academic dumping out research unfiltered. A very boring blow by blow narrated by a robot.

Good attempt poor execution.

The author makes a good effort to present a series of events in an interesting, succinct and insightful way. Fell short when he failed to maintain objectivity on certain (political) historical events. Instead found himself defending a specific views at the risk of appearing manipulative.
