Practical wisdom for serious Christians

It took me a while to get past the title, which is an obvious play on a famous best-seller, but I am so glad I did. As a former pastor for seven years and missionary for over two decades, I found myself often agreeing outloud with the balanced wisdom contained in this book (which got a little embarassing when I was walking around with earbuds in!).

Anyone in or considering entering the ministry needs to hear these truths. I found the audible book presentation to be very well done.

He hit the ball out of the park again.

I’ve been rethinking Church the last few years. Then covid came.

I decided about 6-7 years ago to never give money to a Church if it owns real estate. I minister among Afghans and give most of my offerings to people in difficult situations in refugee camps. These are the relatives of personal friends of mine. I’m deeply involved in their lives. Perhaps not ‘’because of’’, but in tandem with that, I’m seeing the seeds of a local Afghan Church begin to sprout!

There’s one verse in the Bible that I hate: Go into all the world and build architecture. (1 Baloney-ans 1:1) 1 Baloney-ans 1:2 says ‘’The people perish without a parish.’’

Stuff you never hear, but should

This is an excellent book sharing stuff you never hear. Frank always has unique insights into the scripture.

Fantastic content

I’ve read most of Frank’s books. This one does not disappoint. A whole lifetime of love, service, observation and wisdom can be perceived in this book.

Killer Book!!!

This book is full of Kingdom principals that are indispensable for leaders of all shapes, sizes and denominations. These universal Kingdom truths will help any Pastor or church leader get to the next level in God and improve their ministry exponentially! Highly recommended!
