High school graduates know how to pronounce chasm, cupula, Greenwich, effaced and many many more. How can a professional narrator not know how to pronounce some words in nearly every story? Very distracting.

Too many mispronunciations!

There are some great stories in this collection. Also some not so great ones. Struggled to get through entire book. After all it did have 50 chapters and many many hours of recordings. Took me weeks 😁

Some stories are pretty good

The stories were interesting I guess but God that voice I can not do the narrator!!!! it's just soooo boring he sounds like a robot

Eh

A lot of people are complaining about the narrator, but I think he did a decent enough job. "Mono tone, robotic" "bad pronunciation" etc. This isn't a movie in the MCU or your tiktok reel, and this isn't an English 101 lecture. Grow up.

As for the stories, they're more slow burn thriller than horror. Not bad, but not exactly what I'd call "horror". If you're looking for a comedically intense, terrifying, English lesson...probably skip this one.

Not really "horror".

This book would have potential, however, it is very monotone...there is no excitement. The reader shows no emotion, so it is not scary at all, which is what I was looking for Halloween.

Not great...but not terrible either
