7 People Saved My Life is a book about how to cope when you hit rock bottom. I don’t recommend you wait until it happens to buy it of course but if you are going through a hard time, have done or know somebody who is then this book will help. I know it will because the book contains every single nugget of advice and support I could obtain when I was at the lowest point in my life. 7 People takes you on a journey starting from the day I left behind my police career to pursue a career in IT (don’t ask me why because I don’t know). It all started off well enough despite the fact I was already crippled by debt. I ended up in a job I hated with a terrible boss. I started my own company in order to take control of my own destiny and ended up having to fight a corporate giant in court for the £46k they owed me in consultancy fees. After all that happened my wife decided that she didn’t love me anymore at which point I went to pieces. This book is about how when life seems to be falling apart at the seams it is often actually falling into place. It is about how other people can come to your aid with their words of encouragement and wisdom and how you can bounce back from what seemed at the time to be the end of your world. 7 People isn’t about meditation, affirmations or positive thinking. It is about how to cope and turn your life around when you are in the middle of a life changing crisis. It is based upon my first hand experience of what you need to know and do if you want to climb back out of the pit you fell into. Paul Browning Personal Development Self-Esteem
