I coudn’t get through it, the horrible(mexican?) accent tried by the reader failed miserably. It sounds like something from a Rob
Schneider movie and I coudn’t face 9 hours of it.

Why the shitty accent?

The reader was great, bringing it to life! Jules Verne is a great author and this was an interesting and well done plot line!

An engaging story that kept me listening!

I am a big Jules Verne fan, this one was not among his best. I am looking forward to another book.

back stories too long, ponderous

I struggled to finish. Narrator's cholo accent is horrible; the narration itself was enjoyable

Good story, bad accents.

I was excited to listen to this book by Jules Verne, however, the fake accent used by the narrator completely ruined it for me. He did a great job reading all the parts without having an accent, but when it came to those, it was grating and hard to understand. I may try the book by another narrator.
