Is there a pre-series to this book?

I’ve never been more confused in my life. I tried googling it, but it came up with nothing because the author doesn’t have a big profile. I really just wanted to see if there was any books before this because the way they just jumped into this book. It makes me feel like I missed something. How do you introduce someone’s sister being pregnant by their cousin casually? No backstory just straight up facts. Then her best friend was pregnant by her Baller- no explanation just the aftermath. Even the explanation was told in the aftermath. I literally had to restart the book because I thought I missed something.
