Barefoot Haven is glowing with tinsel and chaos. Frankie’s wrangling decorations, Mrs. Abernathy’s goats are eating them, and somewhere amid the foam and fairy lights, suave resort owner Lucien Moreau is trying to hide a velvet ring box from his quick-witted bistro manager — and the love of his life — Velma Sanders.

But when two mysterious guests, Chris and Barbara Ringle, arrive in snowflake Hawaiian shirts and seem to know everyone’s heart a little too well, the holidays take a turn toward the miraculous.

As Christmas Eve sparkles with bonfires, goats in antlers, and a tropical “Secret Santa (Minus the Clothes),” Lucien and Velma’s will-they-won’t-they tension finally melts under the mistletoe. By New Year’s Eve, barefoot vows are exchanged under the stars, and the Ringles vanish as mysteriously as they came—leaving only laughter, love, and maybe a trace of peppermint magic behind.
