Getting on that flight was a huge mistake.
Maybe we should’ve waited until Christmas before going on a vacation.
At least then we might’ve made it to Chicago.
Yeah, we. That’s me and my ex-boyfriend, who are now stranded on Frost Mountain.
I lost him after our plane crashed.
And, yeah, there is something worse…

There’s no way off this snowy mountain—I’m stuck here.
Forever.
That’s what the smoldering bear shifter who rescued me said.
This grumpy man wanted me to pretend to be engaged with him for a night.
I can barely stand him, but I could use some warmth and shelter.
Too bad we’re snowed in.

If I don’t get out of this cabin soon, I’m going to lose my mind this Christmas.

Or, worse, give in to this temptation.

Author's Note: This is a steamy stand alone romance intended for mature audiences. It is part of the HOLIDAY SHIFTERS OF FROST MOUNTAIN series. You can expect to see your favorite characters overlap throughout the books.

Who would've thought that after a plane crash one could find love on a magically secluded and no way off of mountain Emily ended up on. This is a fast paced, fun, entertaining and enjoyable journey to go on with Sebastian and Emily.

I really did not care for the virtual voice narration.

The digital narration was terrible. The computer had the weirdest pronunciation of the word "angst" I've ever heard. You cannot discern when the narrator is saying male or female lines. The intonation feels like Siri is reading it to you. However, this story isn't one I'd recommend reading in traditional format either. Romance, Holiday Romance, and Grumpy/Sunshine tropes are tropes for a reason and while the synopsis indicated these apply, they really do not. It's odd. There's basically a multiverse theory thrown in. While Christmas is in the title, there's essentially no Christmas in the story minus the calendar date (which may not even be applicable - see weird multiverse). Also, the character is from New York (also a Christmas romance trope) which adds nothing to the story because of the shift in space and possibly time.
