These meditations are an excellent resource for women going through the stressful phase of life that is menopause. You will feel supported and empowered through practicing meditation and creating a deeper connection with yourself and your community. Taking the time for self care and raising your self awareness is extremely beneficial on my levels. This holistic approach to menopause allows you to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety and help you obtain more restful sleep. If you interested in regulating your hormones naturally, I highly recommend you give these meditations a chance to help you with your transition through menopause.

First off, I have to say the narrator for this book is awesome. She does such a great job making this book the perfect listen for these meditations. I really appreciated the background music and the length of this book because t's the perfect length to listen to regularly and one that's beneficial - so relaxing and enjoyable! I like how it starts with background information and then moved into the meditations. They are unique and beneficial - definitely awesome. I recommend this book to anyone dealing with menopause who would like some guided meditations.

I liked how each meditation was sensitive to and open to different cultures, recognizing the different experiences and heritages of Black women. The calming and positive voice that led the meditations made me feel better and gave me hope. It reminded me to connect deeply with my inner knowledge and build up my resilience. Well done.

This book resonates so deeply with me as a woman in the throes of menopause! I've never meditated before, but a friend tried this book, and told me to try it. It wasn't weird, it was great! The meditations are peaceful and insightful, and I found it much easier to accept the changes of menopause through this process.

Originally, I didn't see the need to listen every day. That is, until I had tried it a few times! Soon I began to look forward to the time I could spend listening to this voice. It's very true to my lived experience as a black woman, as well as my reality with my body changing. If you're living with menopause, if you're worried about losing control of the changes in your body, if you're worried about when you'll feel like yourself again, TRY THIS! I truly believe it will help you like it is helping me.
