Meanwhile, Balla has a much bigger problem on his hands that could cost them both more than their relationship. Shell and Ruga decide to give it a try despite her initial hesitance. Ruga is definitely rough around the edges but she believes she can work with him until his savage ways start to get in the way of her pursuit of a better life. Kati finds herself knee deep into a double life that seems hard to let go but when someone close to her gets hurt it all comes crumbling down. With plenty of snakes in the grass it becomes hard to predict who is really on their side. Can Balla and Kati bounce back and become the power couple they dream of being? Can Shell and Ruga get past their differences and be a match made in the hood that lasts?

I really enjoyed reading this two book series. Glad to see that love was able to prevail.
