Broken world is about schizophrenia but also has elements of spiritual warfare between good and evil. I must admit that after listening to it there were so many questions about mental disorders. I received this review copy audio book upon my request. I am leaving an honest review about this book of my own volition.

Mental and spiritual warfare

I struggled to finish this book. I feel this is quite a hard subject to write about. In the end it turned out not so shabby after all.

I look forward to hearing more of your books

Average and eye opening

This book was an eye opener. It shows the ins and out of schizophrenia, spiritual warfare, and the mental escape to another world. On top of that the god dilemma was interesting. A god needing someone’s help and not being able to have the power it’s self. The god falling asleep because no one believes. Is that really a real god? This book made me think on many issues. Very very very good!

It was an interesting listen that will have you thinking about things for a while afterwards. I thought the author did a good job considering the type of book it is, but it was missing something for me as a listener. I wasn't drawn in as much as I would have liked and I'm not sure if it was the writing or the narration that was the cause.

The narrator did good, but I just don't think she was right for the story.

I received a review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Thought-provoking

This was an interesting book. It took me awhile to get past the narrators speech cadence. She does a good job but I felt she had this intensity throughout the entire book rather than ebbs and flows based on what was happening. I also wish the book was a bit longer and the author took more time with the setup. It felt like the beginning was rushed and I would have liked to get to know Valerie a bit more before the suicide attempt.

Overall, a unique story with intriguing characters. Definitely worth a listen!
