Love travels faster than Morse code this Christmas in Thunder Creek.

Anna Cremer's expert fingers can translate any telegraph message - except the one telling her how to save her father's legacy. Facing mounting debts and professional prejudice in 1870s Boston, she accepts a proposal from Wyoming rancher Edward Wegman: marriage in exchange for running Thunder Creek's new telegraph office.

Edward needs a competent operator before winter isolates his growing town. He isn't looking for love - his first wife's tragic death taught him the dangers of frontier romance. But Anna's quiet strength and professional skill spark an attraction he can't ignore. As Christmas approaches, a devastating blizzard threatens Thunder Creek. Working side by side through the crisis, Anna and Edward discover their practical partnership kindling into something deeper. But with the storm unleashing its fury and past wounds resurfacing, can they trust their convenient arrangement to become a love worth fighting for?

A heartwarming tale of second chances, professional pride, and the transformative power of finding someone who values your true worth. Perfect for fans of mail-order bride romances featuring strong heroines and the men who learn to cherish them.

There were a few times where the story sentences repeated themselves and I thought the recording was repeating as if something had been recorded wrong.

I've listened to hundreds of romance books and this might be the worst. Reminiscent of a rough draft. Bare bones of the storyline were ok but needed more details and transitions. It was hard to follow and lacked creativity in word use.

Jumpy storyline
