A Russian Drama best seller now in its second edition!

In February, 1959 nine young hikers on a cross country ski trip mysteriously died under horrific circumstances. It is one of the great mysteries of our times. They would be found with missing eyes, even a missing tongue, crushed bones, and stripped of their clothes (later found radioactive) in minus 50 degree temperatures. Theories range from their being murdered by the CIA to space aliens, to even "Abominable Snowmen". This book explores this famous incident using a technique known as "Higher criticism" to explain their terrifying deaths. It includes the latest 2021 evidence and provides hitherto unexplored answers and is now a leading source on the incident, debunking all previous explanations while pointing to twelve points of overwhelming evidence that tell us what really happened on this tragic night of horror.

Although I prefer a live narrators, this AI was fairly well done. Excellent story. I look forward to finding more resources on this topic.

I e always wondered what happened and this book is a great example of an author making sense of a lot of confusing evidence. The AI narration wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. There were just a few pronunciation errors. But this is a fascinating book! Great job Mr. Wilkins!

Fascinating!

I am very interested in what happened February 2, 1959 at what’s now known as Dyatlov Pass. The suggested events, I don’t believe it. I listened to the whole book. It’s an AI voice.

Even the virtual voice was pretty good and I would say maybe the best I’ve heard so far. This was a really great summation of the incident and took a reasoned and well researched approach as to what could’ve and probably did happen to these campers without sensationalizing the story into a ghost or demon hunt. You find some gems in the Plus Catalog and I think this is one of them.

Much better than I thought it’d be
