FIVE STARS “A fun read!”

Book 1 in the COMPLETE 6-Book feel-good Series!

A stolen song. A framed fan club girl. And the birth of Beatlemania…

Liverpool, 1962. Teenager Helen Spencer thought her biggest worry was keeping up with the Beatles’ growing mountain of fan mail. But when someone steals the lyrics to John and Paul’s brand-new song—days before their next recording session—Helen’s dream job turns into a nightmare.

Worse, she’s the prime suspect.

With a skeptical police inspector breathing down her neck and the boys from the band insisting she’s innocent, Helen has no choice but to investigate the theft herself. From the smoky Cavern Club to rival dance halls and shady businessmen eager to cash in on the Beatles’ rising fame, Helen must follow the clues before the thief ruins the band’s big break—and her own future.

Can a shy Liverpool girl clear her name, outsmart a thief, and help save the Beatles’ first hit? Or will her first mystery be her last?

Larceny in Liverpool is the first book in the Cozy Beatles Mystery Series—a clean, clever, and heartwarming romp through the swinging sixties, starring an unlikely sleuth and the world’s most famous band at the start of it all.

First about the AI narration. it isn't perfect, but they have come a long way an it is quite listenable. I have definitely heard human narration that wasn't as good. As for the story, it seemed quite brief at barely over 4 hours, but then, the last audiobook that I listened to was 32 hours. The story is light and entertaining. Basically this is more of a snack than a meal, but definitely worth the time. I will listen to the next book in the series.
