A Dalliance with Death

Frankie Bastow, a female Detective Inspector in a predominantly male environment in the winter of 1969, is tasked with catching a triple murderer in the English town of Holliston. Identifying two of the young women proves extremely difficult, but nowhere near as much of a problem as finding the killer. At first there seems to be no obvious motive, however, a diary reveals something that throws a different light on the murder of the first victim, but are the three victims somehow linked? Frankie must juggle her life on what transpires to be a complex case and her personal life which seems to be in freefall.
