Wollie Shelley isn't happy about taking the job as a "social coach" at MediaRex, but the FBI makes her an offer she can't refuse. If she agrees to infiltrate the company, they'll guarantee that her schizophrenic brother will have a home at the federally subsidized halfway house he's come to love.

Wollie launches into teaching three foreign celebrities how to cope with the customs of Beverly Hills, improve their English, and become Oprah-ready. And when a coyote-chewed corpse appears in the MediaRex compound, Wollie realizes that her colleagues are concealing some serious secrets of their own.

Critic reviews

"Kozak has a gift for creating characters that you care about and placing them in interesting situations. Her books might not exactly be realistic -- OK, they're pretty outlandish -- but they sure are a lot of fun to read." (Chicago Sun Times)
"Kozak engages the emotions - one minute she sends fissions of fear up your spine, and the next, she tickles your funny bone." (Library Journal)
"Kozak keeps the laughs and chills in bewitching balance." (Publisher's Weekly)

Fascinating characters, funny dialogue, great plot. Listened to book. Fabulous, engaging narrator. This book has it all! Highly recommend!

This story should not have been the end of the series. A good publisher and editor could put this author on the map. The narrator was excellent with wonderful male voices for my taste and since this was published in 2009!! l am not holding my breath for book 5. This story does not showcase Simon that much, too bad. He is great when he’s in a scene. Good entertainment, with make you smile dialogue, and great characters. Sorry to see it end

I enjoyed characters very much. Kozak always has very interesting characters. The stories are usually very good but with the names in this ond it got a little confusing. But it was still a good and funny story. The narration was excellent.

very confusing

The story is so well rounded and the characters! Gah! You fall in love with them! I went through all the emotions right along side Wollie. I started the first in the series on a whim and couldn’t put stop listening. To. All. Four. Immediately.
I would like to put out there, “please do another in this series!”

Fabulous! Book 5 please?!?!?

I have bought all four books in this series and for the most part have enjoyed them. Kozak has done a very good job of creating likeable and entertaining characters. I enjoy the over the top unrealistic situations that Wollie gets into but this book was a bit frustrating. Her decision making skills and lack of a backbone had me shaking my head throughout the book. Her relationship with Simon is finally resolved, but his character is very questionable in this book. I found myself wishing that Doc and Ruby would rescue Wollie and save her from herself. I wish Kozak would have clued us in to what happened with Joey and her probate dispute from the last book. The only true drawback to this book is Kozak's long winded style of writing which I usually skipped. All in all this is an entertaining book and series would recommend it to anyone. This book has the feeling of being the last in the series. I would say it ended on a good note.
