Fire is not the only thing that haunts her dreams.

Aurelia made some difficult decisions as part of her work for the resistance to the wicked Unseelie King, and Aspen may never forgive her. But when emissaries come asking for her queen's aid, Aurelia and Aspen are forced to work together to discover the cause of a mysterious blight and gain an ally in their war against the Unseelie King.

Sent deep into the Dwarven realm on behalf of their queen, this mission could be a second chance for Aurelia and Aspen, as long as the dangers they discover there don’t destroy them first.

Fans of Sarah J. Maas as Jennifer L. Armentrout will enjoy Aspen and Aurelia’s second-chance romance in this spicy sequel to A Dream of Stars and Darkness.

Breathtaking! I was nervous about this book featuring other characters after reading the first book in the series because I was so in love with the original, but my gosh, this was fabulous!! I love enemies to lovers, and I don’t think it could have been better. The emotions these two have towards one another, both good and bad, hot and cold left me unable to stop listening. The world Madeliene has created is by far surpassing anything I’ve read recently. I stop and think about the time and commitment to put together all the magical elements of this story while having it flow with other stories. My gosh. Perfection.

Breathtaking!

This is book two in Eliot's Queen of All Fae (QoAF) series and I really enjoyed it. It started out a little slow but I loved Aurelia and Aspen's character development, exploring more of the QoAF world; especially the Crystal City, and the plot twists in this book as I honestly didn't see some of them coming.

I also really enjoyed being able to go back to Ember and Hadrian's POV for a chapter or two here and there. I fell in love with their characters in Book 1 so I was happy to see them again and read about how they're doing. I also really enjoyed the narrator and the way she voiced the characters;

All in all, this was a great continuation of the story. The pacing for the most part was very balanced but there were a few parts that I felt were rushed and could have used more action or explanation. I can't wait to start Book 3 and finish the QoAF series!

Madeleine does it again! ❤️

I read the first book and was underwhelmed. I had hoped it would get better and it did but not by much. the story it's self isn't bad but the writing and pacing need some polish. the characters act like teenagers and the character development just isn't there. maybe it just wasn't for me but I couldn't even get all the way through this one.

well performed but eh writing
