IN A CHARMING TOWN WHERE SECRETS LURK BEHIND EVERY CURTAIN, A MURDER ROCKS THE STAGE.

In the quaint town of Arbordale, Isla Reed is more than the owner of the historic local theater and its mischievous resident cat—she's a beacon of enthusiasm and, unfortunately, a magnet for mayhem. When tragedy strikes with the murder of a star actress in her theater's dressing room, Isla’s best friend is quickly spotlighted as the lead suspect.

Refusing to let the tunnel-visioned detective set the stage for her friend’s downfall, Isla decides it's time to step into the detective’s shoes herself. Luckily, a secret talent and a ghost give her an edge to separate the lies from the truth as she pushes to tie the clues together before it's too late.

For fans of theater and cozy mysteries, "A Fatal Sweetness" is a twisty tale of murder, secrets, and the power of friendship.

Originally published on Kindle Vella as "Tainted Truffles", episodes 1 to 37. Revised and edited for this release. This eBook version is in a reflowable format. Apologies to anyone who had trouble with the print duplicate version.
