While, there is a a great deal about his sister and brother-in-law in the book, the book's interest comes not from his relationship with the first family but from his love for his whole family. The inspiration comes from his success attributed to his family and his own great dedication, determination and discipline along with a love for the game.

The narrator was terrific and the book moved along nicely. I found myself getting a little bit teary now and then and I cheered for his various basketball teams when the going got tough. His description of President Obama and his sister Michelle, both as people and as parents, made me even happier that I knocked on hundreds of doors in my home town on his behalf. Well done!
