This book hints at good ideas but lacks execution because it fails to guide the reader with any actionable steps. The grammar and flow are off. The worst part is we listened to it on Audible. The entire book is like listening to a child's Speak And Spell because the narrator clearly did not read the book in advance, though she does get better around Chapter 11 because she knows this horror show ended at Chapter 13.

This was a short book, and it really only covered completely conventional retirement planning, using IRAs and 401k plans and so on.

The worst part though was the narration. Poor enunciation, mispronunciation, and weird, halting pauses in the middle of phrases made this an unpleasant and frustrating listen. I'm all for ethnic diversity and varied origins and accents among narrators, but they have to still speak English properly, and be able to narrate with appropriate pacing and tone.

Poor narration, mediocre content
