The Break Room Crew (Claire, Roberta, and James) at Robinson's Software and Design have placed a bet during the Holiday season. Mostly, because Claire has decided it is her mission to help her boss, Sarah Alexander, find love. Well, the reality is she wants to set her boss up with her brother, Jeremy Buchanan, in hopes to make her boss a little more perkier during the holiday season. James doesn't think Sarah is capable of love. Roberta thinks Claire may be on to something.
Will Sarah go on a date and kiss Jeremy by Thanksgiving? Will Jeremy propose to Sarah by Christmas Day? Claire is betting and determined to win.

This was a happy, short listen. Claire has made a bet with her co-workers that she can get her boss, Sarah fixed up on a date and a kiss with her brother, Jeremy. After a few crazy schemes with her car, Jeremy and Sarah are dating. Sarah at the same time is now getting to know her 8 year old twin nieces and is beginning to see there is more to life than work. Over the next couple of weeks, the bet goes on, changes a little and things progress. Christmas Eve is a nice touch at the end.
The only thing that was a little distracting was the narrator. I applaud Giselle Lumas for narrating her own book, but the flow is not automatic, and her voices are not as apparent between characters. I think if it had been done by a narrating actor, the book would have been an easier listen.
A fun holiday listen!

"This audiobook was provided by the author at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review. This book was fun and easy to listen to with one exception...I wasn't impressed with the narration most of all, I liked the story line and continued to listen because I wanted to know how the book ended. I wasn't impressed with the narration, it was unprofessional and almost pushed me away from all books by this author.Ok easy book to follow.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I think the narrator's voice was a bit distracting. There were also moments when I wasn't sure if the audio was replaying and needs to be edited, or if the writing was a bit redundant. I think this audiobook is a little rough around the edges, and with a little cleaning up would be amazing.Any additional comments?
