like every mushoku tensei volume or story i enjoyed the writing and the story telling

Short Stories can be worth your time.

Even though the entire novel is simply a bunch of short stories, they each expand upon the world and characters for Mushoku Tensei. I especially loved hearing what were each characters thoughts and feelings toward Paul's funeral.
