the role of two great woman, Deborah and Jade

I could hardly understand the narration. I finally got out my voice to type AP and it had a hard time to but I got enough that I could follow the story of Deborah. The long back history at the beginning completely lost me even tho I know it. I have listened to this narrator in another book and understood her fine.
