The male arts being read by a woman really takes me out of the story.

Another Divine Joy and Sorrow

I love the Merry Gentry series. Laurell K Hamilton presents the various characters so clearly, and the plotlines are fascinating. Just as when I read this story in book form, I grieved with Merry when Frost became stag. I look forward to listening to tge rest of the seriez; this nartator is superb.
