Walking to an outhouse in the cold and living without electricity seemed like something from a history book, something that couldn’t have been experience by anyone still alive today. Yet, many from the silent generation grew up this way, experiencing what some say is more change in their life than the preceding three hundred years combined. How did they cope and adjust to all the change? The stories of this generation have largely remained untold. As the name implies, those in the silent generation grew up in a time when speaking out was discouraged. They are stereotypically known to make the best out of bad times and reluctant to share opinions. A Lifetime of Change follows the lives of Rosemarie and Dale Starr, and explains how the Starrs aligned. Along with it comes an incredible story of change, life lessons, and a newfound appreciation of the life we live today.
