📖 Story comment: reasonable pace, likeable characters, good end to the series.
If you can dig through all the s*x (not even 30 minutes in and Zane and Enzo were getting busy), the story concluding the Zodiac case was good - although I would have liked the "big climax" to be a little more "something" given how long this killer has plagued the community.
The relationship between Zane and Enzo has matured and they "talk rather than react" which I appreciate of mature characters. But this one had too much s*x in it for me (to the extent I was fast forwarding through it) and there are some inconsistencies in the details from previous books, which was noticeable doing back to back listens of the books in this series, but overall I enjoyed it.

🎧 Narrator comment: Greg Boudreaux can do no wrong (in my opinion). He suits the characters, has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. Overall an enjoyable performance and he bought the story to life.

Perfection 🔥🔥🔥

I can’t say a bad word about this final book in the NYC stonewall series. Max Walker, you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! I love my MM romances chock full of steam and was absolutely thrilled with the amount of descriptive heat between Zane and Enzo. I disagree with the other reviews that there was too much seggs, but I guess it’s down to personal taste. I will most likely listen to this one again, it’s that good. 🥵

good mystery, hot guys

I listen to Stonewall investigation book 1 and then four since those two books go together even though there are books two and three in between them.

Mystery and Steamy Romance = Fantastic Listen
