I am continuing with a genre of poetry that I created that I call schizoetry. It is a literary work fusing poetry with the thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of one who lives with a schizophrenic or schizoaffective disorder.

I have been writing poetry since the age of 10. My poems go deep into my mind, emotions, and spirit. They are very revealing, to say the least. I wish to reach those living with this illness. I hope to touch that place in them that so desperately longs for someone to identify with. I know that I need that in my life. Hopefully I can help someone feel like they belong. Perhaps I can raise their self-esteem. Maybe I can give them strength in self-acceptance. I would also like to reach caretakers and loved ones. It isn't easy to see your loved one suffer from this disease. Perhaps I can give them hope. I hope everyone enjoys my book. Be blessed.

PROFOUND BOOKS FOR OUR TIMES!

How close to home this one hit. Very insightful and very well written. A must listen for anyone struggling with mental health. Brown’s books have strong messages for all of us! Highly recommended!

HIGHLY LISTENABLE 👂🏽

I have to say I was smacked in the face at how good this book was. I was anxious to listen to this book after listening to all of Brown’s other books. This book was so illuminating with a consistent tone throughout. No lulls at all! Absolutely Flawless narration!! 💎

A BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE

I am so grateful not only for this book but for the perfect timing of this book. It gave many doses of what I needed to hear. I spent a lot of this book quietly nodding and agreeing, pausing to let the message marinate in my mind for a bit longer and quite a few times hollering YES! or AMEN!! Definitely one to keep in the collection to go back to often.

REQUIRED LISTENING 👂🏽

This book along with Brown’s other books should be required listening for everyone. Mental health is not just for some, it’s for all! I do not care for self help books. This is not that kind of book. This book and Brown’s others changes an entire way of thinking and shows how wrong we have been thus far in regards to paranoid schizophrenia.
