Lazarus is the biggest, strongest, the all time scariest of the vampires. He refuses to act like a human because he isn't one, damn it. He'll drink blood, wear his weapons...all sixteen of them and all at once...and growl up a freaking storm if he wants to. The problem is that the human females within the program are afraid of him. They won't talk to him, let alone allow him anywhere near them. At this rate, finding one to take as a mate is looking more impossible by the day. Then one times firecracker arrives unannounced. Alexandra is the smallest female he has ever seen. She's definitely the most sexy female he's ever laid eyes on. The most exciting thing of all is that she's not afraid of him...not one little bit. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that she likes him very much either. She needs his vote to stay in the program and Lazarus plans on making her work for it. On winning her over and using every trick in the book to make it happen.

he story contains mature themes/language. Although this is a standalone novel, it would be best enjoyed as a part of the series. No cliffhanger!

passionate series

I enjoyed book 3. I do wish the AI could pick up better on voice ques. The mix breeding of species is fabulous. The storyline is so graphic, It keeps you on your toes and intrigued!

Love the story.

Love the story but hate the virtual voice. Some of the sentences came together and sometimes it was confusing when it switched characters views

let down

I'd been hoping that this story would be made into an audiobook for a very long time. It's my favorite of the series . The AI voices were tolerable at best. The male voice was worst than the female and both irritating during scenes of passion. Even if these are old books if you felt they were worth making into audiobooks do it right with human narration.
