The love of a mother is timeless and unconditional. Alexa Wright realized this at the first flutter of the life inside her and lived it until her son became an adult. She faced joy, trials, unwanted change and devastating loss.
This heart-wrenching trip down memory lane will give you a look into the love of a mother and let you experience one woman's journey towards understanding, coming to terms with obstacles life throws at you and moreover, redemption and forgiveness. This poignant tale is a must read for all women.

In A Moment in Time we get Alexa's journey to and through motherhood and what she learned along the way. After getting pregnant in high school her life completely took a different course than she thought it was going to. We saw her struggles with accepting the new course, learning that love doesn't equal being in love, finding out what true love really is, and ultimately that sometimes the best thing that you can do for your child is let them go and wait for them with open arms when they finally return.
Her story and journey is very different than mine but throughout the whole thing I kept finding parallels between the two in lessons that have been learned; same lesson, two very different ways of learning it.
Even if this isn't a book that you would normally read or listen to, I urge you to give it a try because sometimes a mother just needs a hug from another mother and this book makes you feel that hug.
I also wanted to say something real quick about Sandra Parker's narration. Ms. Parker did a fabulous job bringing Alexa's story to life and really making you feel what Alexa was feeling at any given time.
