This may be the most challenging of Logan’s cases. When former child star and America’s Sweetheart is kidnapped off the set of a Western film, a producer hires Logan to take on the case. However, complications soon arise, and he’s now not only searching for a kidnapper but a crazed murderer as well. The suspects are plentiful, and the twists are daunting as he weaves his way through a mystery teeming with deceit, jealousy, and greed. It’s soon high noon for Logan as he faces the killer in a finale reminiscent of a classic Western showdown.

Well-Scripted and Well-Narrated!

Fast-paced "script" with over-the-top narration.

James Romick is one of my favorite Audible narrators and I always enjoy listening to his narrations.

Fun Old Hollywood Murder Mystery

This was a fun listen- a good old-fashioned detective story- not too dark and deep, but a great listen about a missing starlet and an increasing number of dead in the early Hollywood era. The narrator is really good- so good at story telling/noir, and character distinction, and some of them I just loved.

A MURDER WELL SCRIPT

This book is about Logan. This is not part of a series but I found other books about Logan. I like Logan. He's A old fashioned Detective. The star of a western film has been kidnapped and they called Logan in. This mystery help my interest. Logan gets into all kinds od messes when trying to rescue the girl. Its kinda a western mystery. I thought it was a good story. James Romick does a good job narrating this book.
