I gained a new sense of respect for Mr. Sumner, Redstone after listening to this audiobook. I did not start out as a fan, but after listening to this audiobook, I gained a greater sense of appreciation for this man and what he took to become the person that he was known for. I learned a lot when listening to it. I learned that sometimes a hunch for a great opportunity can really pay off if you put effort into it after you decide that it is the right path to take.

good insider details

I enjoyed that his book was focused on key moments he was most proud of or felt he learned the most from, rather than an overblown, self-absorbed recall of everything he could think of. I particularly loved the details into the major mergers that only an insider could describe. Good listen. I'm sure I will come back to it later, at least once.
