Another Excellent Mystery for Lily to Solve 🕵️

Lily Adler (MFC) Widowed young lady living in Victorian London era, often finds herself acting as an amateur sleuth to solve basic problems for others and more nefarious mysteries of murder.
Captain Jack Hartley (MMC) Retired Captain, now back home and dearest of friends to Lily, always willing to help her in any situation she may need, including helping her solve mysteries.

Jack & Lily are working closely to solve a couple mysteries in this installment and developing more complex feelings toward one another. As they track down clues dangers are waiting for them at every step. Someone doesn’t want them to find out what they have been up to and they will do anything to stop the truth from coming to light.

I enjoyed this one, maybe the most out of all the books in this series!

Engaging story

I loved this series made all the better by the reader and may need to listen to the series again. I truly hope there are more to come.

Best of Adler series - hope more!

I adore this series of 5 books so far. I do hope there are more. The plots are excellent, and the characters are multi-faceted. I also love all the supporting characters as well as the main ones: Lily and Jack... A little romance amid the imaginative murder plots are a good thing. Also love the narrator, who's perfect! Please retain her for any future books!!
