Winning her is going to be an uphill battle. But he's up for the challenge.

When Brandon Matthews was leaving Blue Ridge Bay twelve years ago, he didn't mean to ignore his best friend and long-time crush, Destiny Rogers. Brandon is visiting home for the summer. A series of events over the last year have convinced him that he needs to share his feelings with Destiny. But after ignoring her for twelve years, he knows winning her back is going to be an uphill battle. But it is one he's willing to fight.

Destiny has built a wonderful life for herself in the town she grew up in working in a dream role as a park ranger with the Blue Ridge Parks and Recreation Department. Living in her hometown means she gets to help her aging parents and volunteer for the kid's ministry at her church. For the last twelve years, she's worked hard to convince herself that whatever flame she held for Brandon has long been quenched. And so she is completely blindsided by Brandon just showing up in Blue Ridge Bay!

Destiny is determined to show Brandon that after ignoring her for twelve years, she has no time for him or his antics to win her back. And Brandon is determined to NOT take no for an answer.

Escape to the small beach town of Blue Ridge Bay with this romantic first installment of the Blue Ridge Bay Billionaires series!

I really liked this story of former friends falling in love. The virtual voice narration did not do it justice but it was worth the listen. A really sweet story with a gentle Christian foundation.
