Very fun!

I really enjoyed this book! It was a cozy romantasy that all took place in Stormsby. Roz runs an inn and has fire magic within her. When the Kingsmen swamp her inn in pursuit of a shapeshifter, she meets the enticing Captain Caelan.

I enjoyed the banter and the mystery of who could be the shapeshifter. The audiobook was also amazing, narrated by Sara Brodt! Even though it's a single POV book, the male voices were done very well!

If you're looking for a cozy fantasy with some romance and spice, give this one a chance! 4.5/5 🥰

Such a wonderful listen!

Dang! The accents, the story, the unique magic system, I loved it all! There were moments that made me melt, others that made me swoon, and even more that made me smile.

This was such an enjoyable listen! Great story and the narrator, Sara Brodt did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life! If you love some good spice, lovable characters and a catchy plot that will make you not want to stop listening, this is your next read! ❤️

Well written, well performed

A sweet story of magic and secrets and chemistry. I loved this quick read, and devoured it in a single day. The plot moves quickly, but the limited settings help keep you grounded in an effective way.

The moment I realized who the Serpent was, I literally yelled, “ah ha!”. It
was a good moment, and a great twist.

Sara is such a fabulous narrator and I love that I forget it isn’t two narrators through out the story.

I really enjoyed this story and didn’t predict the ending. It was fun and lighthearted. This was exactly what I needed to pull me out of a reading slump. Sara’s performance was fantastic, as always.
