Fiery and Sweet!

With a quirky and charming small town Southern setting; genuine characters; and a romance as fiery and sweet as a glass of bourbon, A Shot of Her is a satisfying and entertaining sapphic romance from beginning to end. Laurel’s warm, colorful personality, spiced with more than a hint of spunk and determination makes her the archetypal Southern heroine. And she meets her match beautifully in the brooding butch Dallas, whose tough exterior conceals a soft and squishy heart just waiting for Laurel to uncover it. Their relationship blossoms in the face of numerous internal and external obstacles thanks to healthy communication, a heartwarming emotional connection, and sizzling physical chemistry.

The narration in this book really makes Laurel, Dallas, and the eccentric cast of side characters shimmer, ensuring A Shot of Her is a book sapphic romance fans will want to listen to again and again.

good book but not so much Audiobook

This is such a sweet heartwarming story. I love the fact that the MC'S are not perfect. This is a must read
I loved this book so much that when the Audiobook was announced I pre-ordered it without hesitation. When it was released I immediately started it but did not even make it 5 mins and gave up. I know it's not a popular opinion but I do not prefer this Narrator and avoid the books she does. I do have a few so yes I have gave her well over 5 books to change my mind. I will not change the rating from 5 stars in amazon because the book is that good and again it is my preference in not liking the way the Narrator sounds robotic and choppy to me. I hope if the author does her other books in Audio form another Narrator might be used.
