I was hoping for this ending

love the characters and how they all flow together. Excellent story line. One twist I did not see coming. excellent story telling as well. kudos to the narrator. Ready for book 2.

A dangerous, labyrinthine obsession

Received an audio copy to review from the narrator, this is an honest review. Beautifully performed by Randy McCarten, A Simple Twist of Fate turns into this deeply complicated mystery thrill ride that keeps you guessing until the end. At first the deaths of two people in a house fire seem to be a simple case but as Eckhart and partner discover nothing is at its should be as the man that leads a prominent company within Silicon Valley needs to be saved from his own obsessed mind that the mysterious alchemy of turning lead into gold is much more than myth. And the CEO of Stone Technology is desperate to prove to not only his board if trustees but that it will change humanity in grandiose ways.

Highly recommended.
