He's always looked to the stars.

Now she's the brightest light in his universe.

Brilliant astrophysicist Dr. Owen Shaughnessy feels more connected to the cosmos than to people. He's great with calculations, but when he leads a team of scientists to study a famous meteor shower, he doesn't factor in his free-spirited artist assistant, Brooke Matthews.

Polar opposites in personality, the friction between Owen and Brooke threatens to derail the project. But the beauty and mystery of the night sky draw them together - and she's going to surprise him in ways the stars never could.

Creativity is a trait that continues to draw me to author, Samantha Chase. Never has her understanding of the heart been more obvious than Owen Shaughnessy. I knew A Sky Full of Stars would be special and Ms. Chase did not disappoint. In Owen she dreamed up a unique hero that is as clueless as he is unforgettable. He's book smart but emotionally he's like a baby bird learning to spread his wings. He feels deeply, yet doesn't fully ascertain how to express what he feels. In Brooke, he finds his total opposite, but he also learns to not overthink life, LIVE IT. In no way should this couple work but they do. They bring out the best in each other as each learns how to be true to themselves.

A beautiful heartache with an inspiring twist.

Owen definitely became my favorite of all the brothers. His character had me laughing out loud in some parts. I loved how quirky he is. I know a LOT of people complained about Christopher Kipiniak's narration, but after listening to the entire series I have to give that man major props. He had a distinctive voice for every male character in the series and he was consistent throughout the entirety of it. I was extremely impressed by him. Do I prefer my men more growley? Yes I do. However, Christopher is an extremely talented voice actor and I enjoyed listening to every book in this series

A Sky Full of Stars. Book 5 This was quite a good story but got a bit tedious. Same theme with most of Samantha's books in this series the female wants the guy he has issues from his childhood and changes his mind midway through. It was still a reasonable read. Overall I enjoyed the series.

Terrific love story about freeing yourself from the labels, guilt and regrets of your past to accept deserving a HEA of your own. Loved Owen, loved Brooke... although she wasn't as in your face independent woman as some of Chase's females she owned her baggage without blaming anyone else (a little blame to parents but hey that's normal right?) and she came into her own strength without taking from another's or cow towing to her man.

plus their love story had a lovely understated passion that just kept growing with their affection for one another - I like that so much better than the hey let's have unbridled sex 5 minutes into meeting then oh hey I guess it is live now... my world doesn't work that way so always confusing. This to me was a true romance.

I thought the male narrator did such an awesome job with distinguishing the male voices. I always knew when it was Owen vs. any of his other brothers especially Quinn and Riley. I know other reviewers do not Luke his voice as much because the background story voice he uses is a bit effeminate but I think that is how he is able to make the male characters dialog stand out from just narration. To each his own I guess.

I really liked it start to.finish, Love Owen's dynamic with family members ( doalog with his dad, and with his twin was very interesting). I recommend this book. Hope you enjoy it too!

Some of the sections were repeating themselves. Editing was done poorly, however, I enjoyed the book.
