Love the story

I was amazed at how hooked I was listening that I could not stop. Wish it was a bit longer but know I'm looking forward to the next volume.

I got a little lost a few times, but I was driving at the time, and easily figured out what was going on.

My metric for deciding whether or not an audiobook is really easy: Did I have fun listening to it? For A Snake's Life, I did. You can nitpick and criticize details about the writing style, game mechanics, or characters but at the end of the day I would have paid for this product had I not gotten it in a giveaway. It reminds me a lot of The Beginning Before the End and Legend of the Arch Magus in terms of how light novel-y it felt. Overall, totally worth it.
