Once upon a time, there was a powerful witch who ran away from her grandmother. The grandmother sent out bloodhunters to find her, but she enchanted a cherry red cloak to mask her blood's scent.

This story started out with Brenden being the rough, unloveable tough guy, to a sweet, I wanna hug you dude.

I loved the banter back and forth while they were in each other’s minds talking.

I do wish that was a little more back story with the coven Rhen came from and the pack for Brenden.

Overall this was an easy listen and both the narrator’s voices were so smooth. Can’t wait to listen to more by Vic and Kate.

I am a sucker for paranormal, and supernatural and especially any type of storyline involved shifters, in particular WOLF shifters, so this storyline hand me locked in from the beginning, Savvys writing flows so well and the banter between these two characters felt like I was listening to my husband and I at the dinner table, relaxed and natural. I couldn't get enough. I did read alongside the KU ebook for a the full experience and I would have to admit its truly becoming my favorite way to read books. I love feeling fully immerse in worlds, where Magic, WOLF Shifters and the fight for good and evil is pure of heart. Highly recommend. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
