Klaus Berlitz and the Umschreiben team continue their efforts to restore and maintain the timeline to prevent a disastrous future while still creating a better world. After Confederate President Otto Meier asked Adam Sparrow to seek assistance from the United States, Adam has returned to hiding in North America to figure out how to stop Joseph Goebbels. With the assistance of Jakob and Angel, the trio reach out for help from one of Von Hilmeir’s most trusted American spies, Simon. As their plans move slowly at first, Angel notices that Adam is not the Adam of old and keeps an eye on him until the old Adam begins to resurface and once again becomes the calm confident leader he is. With the disappearance of Jakob and Angel Sparroberg, Joseph Goebbels knows they could be a possible threat and sends agents to locate them. After locating and then losing the pair, Joseph's assistant Erich discovers that Adam Sparrow is alive. With this knowledge and using more propaganda of lies, Joseph Goebbels makes his move, driving President Meier into hiding. Once in power, Joseph moves to take over the planet, and showing no mercy or toleration for his enemies, uses the world’s first ballistic nuclear missile to attack Hiroshima, setting the world on a destructive path.
