Violet March and Sam Nash are as different as night and day and have been enemies ever since Violet accused Sam of dognapping her beloved Dalmatian. Sam knows that's impossible - for one thing, Cinder is a well-trained fire-safety-demonstration dog who never steps out of line for serious firefighter Sam. Sprinkles, on the other hand, has never met a command that she didn't ignore completely, much like her bubbly owner.

So when Sprinkles and Cinder accidentally switch places during one of the annual police vs. fire department softball tournament games, Violet is thrilled by her dog's sudden perfect behavior. And if stubborn-yet-charming Sam is embarrassed that his dog no longer listens, all the better. But when the dogs are eventually switched back, both Sam and Violet are surprised to find that not everything is as black and white as it seems. And a little puppy love might be just the thing they've been missing....

Enjoyed this read. The setting was so real. loved loved the cast of characters. And the dogs...lol loved it all

super cheesy but cute, I guess

The book had lovable characters and I liked the concept but it could’ve been longer. It was supposed to be enemies to lovers (I think?) but it felt rushed to me. Their relationship went from 0 to 100 and the climax of the story was so random. At least in my opinion. The plot was pretty simple and there was no spice. Overall, it was definitely VERY young adult, which is not my personal favorite.
