From best-selling author Michele Campbell comes A Stranger on the Beach, an edge-of-your-seat story of passion and intrigue that will keep you guessing until the very end.

Caroline Stark’s beach house was supposed to be her crowning achievement: a lavish, expensive space to showcase what she thought was her perfect family. But after a very public fight with her husband, she realizes things may not be as perfect as they seem: Her husband is lying to her, the money is disappearing, and there’s a stranger on the beach outside her house.

As Caroline’s marriage and her carefully constructed lifestyle begin to collapse around her, she turns to Aidan, the stranger, for comfort...and revenge. After a brief and desperate fling that means nothing to Caroline and everything to him, Aiden’s infatuation with Caroline, her family, and her house becomes more and more destructive. But who is manipulating whom in this deadly game of obsession and control? Who will take the blame when someone ends up dead...and what is Caroline hiding?

The story had real potential to become a good plot. Scorned wife with young lover who just might be a sociopathic murderer
The ending was predictable. The narration was not good, using an annoying Long Island accent for Aiden and the sister and a very high pitched and whiny voice for the teenage daughter
I know it can’t be easy, but for an eight hour novel, it really starts grating on your ears.
There was also some mispronunciation of keywords in her narration. Not allocate- allocute.
I’m not going to read/audible anymore of her novels
The Intern was good, but none of the others equal that one

Had potential

Characters you love to hate! It was a little confusing at times but tied it up well in the end!

Good Stuff!

overall a good book. if you don't pay attention you'll miss the excitement and get lost. the book comes together at the end. ending could have been slightly better, felt a little rushed to end. but overall, good book.

Good Book-twists and turns

Struggling to move forward...MC making obvious wrong moves. I'm sick with aggravation. Will update if I continue.

An hour in...hating dumb MC

The most exciting book I have listened to in years! (And I listen to a LOT of Suspense/Thriller type novels!) January LaVoy is the best narrator out there as far as I am concerned!❤️

What an awesome ride! I am so sorry that it’s over😥
