Love this book

This is one of my favorite books of Lois’. Was so glad to see it in the plus catalog.

Nice story

Made me cry. Of course. It was a sweet sad story full of nice people. Heartwarming I guess you’d call it. Despite the sadness.

Great book! I love Lois Lowry!

This was a wonderful book. Well written and very well read. I absolutely love Lois Lowry she always uses such wonderful description in her books which allows you to paint a very vivid picture in your mind.

Heartwarming!

I first read the hardcopy of this book the summer I turned 12 years old or so. I always remembered it. I am 40 now and was soo excited when I learned it was an audiobook! I fell in love with this story all over again! It was a great throwback listen!

fantastic book

The narration was excellent. The characters seemed alive. Sad but not depressing. Uplifting and positive ending.
