An overview of the historical and theological development of these two confessions, with a comparison of content and analysis of them. These two Baptist confessions were written and published by men living in the tedium of life unique to them – in their culture, period of history, and the theological development of their beliefs. While many books have been written by Baptists on the topic of confessions, the preponderance of those books are academic and biased towards the 1689 London Baptist Confession. My intention is to present a non-academic overview of how these confessions came to be, giving both confessions adequate light to see if they are true to the Bible so they will be used in the proper way. The author is clearly unlearned and petty. He doesn’t understand the stuff he is trying to criticize. He even goes out of his way to complain about trintarian confession that matches 5th century confessions. It seemed like a decent topic but this book is worthless.
