Liked the main story

Enjoyed the main story. Liked the characters and the plot. Before reading this book2, I heard and enjoyed the main story of Book 1. I decided to delay reading all of the short short stories at the end of this audio, and to move on to reading Book 3 of the series instead.

Always Enjoy This Narrator

Enchanting, enthralling and positively entertaining! Intelligent and well written, this is one that you'll want gracing your bookself. This jewel is sure to whisk you away as Jules and Leila fall for each other and try to attain their happily ever after. This clean Regency romance will make you swoon and sigh in all of the best ways.

I could not put this down! These two are absolutely adorable together. While Jules tends to be in the background, Leila isn't about to let the irresistible fellow out of her sight. She flirts her way into his heart and he is devoted to his lady love. They share a love for the written word and it brings out hidden depths that they haven't shared before.

Jules is the ultimate good guy. He's a scholar who's reserved and happy to be so. But once his heart is affixed, he's ready to claim his happily ever after. But he's also extremely respectful even if that quality could lead him to ruin. But by being himself, he earns all that he desires.

Leila is ready to marry a stranger to bring honor to her family. She's known the path that awaits her, but her heart wants what it wants. While she schemes to make her dreams come true, her work is often for naught. She's joyful and full of life and just so likeable.

Ms. Golden is a master storyteller who brings these delightful characters to life with comical happenings and plots that are completely absorbing. Every book she's written has been unique and a breath of fresh air. I've come to expect excellence and elegance and it's always gifted with an enormous gold bow.
