Twenty-eight year old Ross Armstrong has just finished his graduate degree studies and received his master's degree in history. Now he and his girlfriend Sheryl Summers are taking a trip back to the town he was born in and left at age ten.

The small North Jersey town of Sundown in the Kittatinny Mountains was founded in 1704 and because of a 320 year old witch's curse upon the the town, Ross and Sheryl's little visit back is about to twist their notion of reality and change their lives forever. Providing they even survive long enough.

I really enjoyed this different type of mystery from a new to me author

Sundown is a town established in 1704 by settlers from Massachusetts. Two years later they accidentally kill a girl while questioning her about being a witch. Her a mother curses the town. Three centuries later Ross and his girlfriend from college return to visit his grandparents after his parents had moved the family away when he was 10.

So our mystery is does curse exist and how might it work.

I found the storyline well developed and written. Main characters were developed thoroughly. I also enjoyed the performance with narrator covering multiple characters very well as he switched from male to female and ages from 104 to 10 through the story.

Great Suspense!

Wow! I really loved this one! It is fully suspenseful! That kept me in my toes! Plus what an amazing cast of characters! This town…Phew! Makes me not want to venture into new towns with an intent to stay…freaky! This is well written and I loved every second! This is a first time author for me and this wont be the last one!

Without giving anything away, rest assured, first word to last - ALL the information you need to know is beautifully given WHEN you need it! You will not have ANY issues following this fabulously plotted, throughly researched, beautifully written, darkly suspenseful, CHILLING story! The characters are perfectly crafted, historically accurate, AND uncannily human! Their dialogue not only rings true, but is beautifully, realistically, narrated, AND perfectly emoted! The entire performance is perfectly timed, and perfectly paced, adding exponentially to the entire listening experience, truly giving life to our authors extraordinary creation! I loved everything about “A Town Called Sundown” - pure MAGIC, truly deserving of five stunning stars across all categories!
