The first meeting between recently-hired librarian assistant Lisa Gonzalez and the 400-year-old vampire Damien disguised as a flamboyant playboy has both in suspense. Damien's never met a woman so delightful for his taste buds but he has to lead her into his trap slowly.

Lisa was warned that her new boss is a freak but she downplays her friends' accusations, claiming that she needed this job to pay for her university expenses.

Will Lisa keep her distance from Damien's escapade of eternal thirst or will the vampire have his way with her along with the rest of the female clan on campus as he has had for hundreds of years?

Love a good vampire story

This was short and sweet. I was left wanting more. Sadly the narration didn't pull me in. But overall great short story.

Short story

I enjoyed this short vampire story. Lisa Gonzalez is Damien hired librarian assistant. Damien is a very old vampire in disguised as a playboy. They both meet and he decide to slowly trap her.

This story might have you wanting more. It end to quickly for me because I like reading about vampire. I listened to this story on audio the narration made the story come to life for me.

Vampire got me

I wish it was longer. I would definitely like to know more about what else happened. It was good just bad place to leave off. narration was good.

Just Bae is just great!

I have read of few of his stories and when I saw this one, I knew I wanted to listen to it. It was so good and I loved the vampire in it. He wasn't creepy like every other vamp I have read and the story wasn't a terror filled ride. This was so good that I want to read it over and over again. I want my own Damien!!

Bravo to Just Bae for excellent writing and some of the best characters I have found in recent days. The narrator was perfect too. She brought some depth to the characters.

Interesting short!

This was an interesting short read, and an effective teaser. If there are full-length books to follow, I will definitely be interested in reading them. I like the characters and the tension, and feel satisfactorily bloodthirsty for more.
