The twenty-first novel from New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey, a steamy thriller set in tropical Barbados

She is a woman of a thousand faces, an assassin who could be anyone, anywhere.

The Trinidad contract was supposed to be simple: to make a living man become a dead man. When the job goes bad under the watchful eye of a bank security camera, there is nowhere for agent MX-401, known as Reaper, to hide from the fearsome local warlords, the Laventille Killers.

Her employers, the Barbarians, send her to Barbados, the next island over, barely two hundred miles away, with the LK’s in hot pursuit of the woman who took many of their own. With the scant protection of a dank safe house, no passport, and no access to funds, an island paradise becomes her prison.

While she trawls for low-profile assignments to keep her skills sharp and a few dollars in her pocket, Reaper discovers that family ties run deep, on both sides of the fight. Will the woman everyone wants, who has lived countless lives in the service of others, finally discover who she really is?

In A Wanted Woman, New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey delivers an adrenaline-pumping rush of a listen.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Wanted Woman to be better than the print version?

Yes I loved this audio edition because the narrator really brought you into the story and made it seem more real.

What other book might you compare A Wanted Woman to and why?

This book puts me in the mind of the female version of Gideon. She is one bad female assasin who always has to watch her back just like Gideon. I think it would be cool if Reaper had a whole series like Gideon.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when she was getting a major beat down but never caved in to those animals and always had a witty comeback!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes I did. This book had me laughing at times, talking out loud at other times and on the edge of my seat everytime Reaper found herself in trouble.

Any additional comments?

I've read a lot of people saying that the narrator wasn't good but I loved her and hopefully EJD will read this and bring out more of Reaper like he did Gideon!

I loved this book and the narrator

Where does A Wanted Woman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The top spot on my list!!! This book was incredible...I loved it from start to finish! I need to find out if there is a followup story...surely EJD is not going to leave these characters like this!!! :( Please dont! Wonderful read and will recommend to others

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes...this book was not predictable at all! And just when I thought it was about to end...EJD gave me reason to push on just like the main character of this book!

What does Zoë Bell and Dominic Hoffman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

intensity! It was great that Zoe Bell narrated all of MX-104 pov and Dominic Hoffman narrated the alternate perspectives! I felt like I was inside the story, watching it happen right in front of me! It was absolutely wonderful. And all the different accents and dialects that ZB did were incredible, that is how I would expect Reaper to talk if she were a movie character!!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

....meeting Jesus' Daddy... or Dora the Explorer...I loved it every time reaper said one of these tags in the story!

Any additional comments?

Please create a sequel story EJD!!!!! We have to know what happens to Reaper (Jr.) and her sister. And how they get revenge with the Barbarians and if they reunite with Reaper (Sr.)... A family of assassins could start their own business and really give the Barbarians a run for their money!

Wanting MORE!!!
